Greetings to you all. Grace and peace to you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We really are grateful to God for partnering with us and spending your much precious time in standing in prayer for us. Every time that we think of you, we give thanks to God and as we pray we really feel joy in our hearts for being partners in our spreading of good news about Jesus Christ. We are really certain that He who has started a good work in you will continue until it’s finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. We are glad to let you know that we really appreciate and you have a special place in our hearts and you share with us the special favor of God. God knows how much we love you and long for you with the tender compassion of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that your love will overflow more and more and that you keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation, the righteous character produced in your life by Christ Jesus. We are now past 2 months in YWAM Curitiba and glad to let you know that your prayers sustain us everyday. We experience such peace when we think and pray for you. The Lord shows us such joy for your partnering with us. May the good Lord continue in lifting you up and make His face shine upon you. This is really our faith that our redeemer lives. Ministry in Munhava

2011 in Ministry

This year came with a great challenge that really was so frustrating to us and too to the ministry. As the days fast rolled, we really felt that God has a great plan for us in this year though facing the giants that where so strong to overcome. We were not taken by surprise by this but felt that this is the year that our God is going to take us places. Ministry started lowly and as people where coming from the festive seasons, a lot happens. We have now engaged ourselves into the better gear that will see us through in ministry.

I started kick start with pacesetting leadership course at the church on Wednesday evening and worship on Saturday morning where as Suku will be leading the women in intercessions on Tuesday morning from 6.30 am till 4pm, then on Thursday she will have the ladies meeting in the afternoon.

This will be done up to the middle of the year as the second half will be occupied with Discipleship Training School that will run from July to November. We will both be involved in this school and this is another challenge as the school will be done in two languages English and Portuguese.
Our prayer is that God will sent many students as we are aiming not less than 10 students so that it will be good for the outreach.

Getting to know ........

As we settle in the land of Mozambique, there are so many things that tries to disturb and steal our focus from waht the Lord has called us for. We really feel that there are so many adversaries that has been on the way, but trully the Lord is faithful in every thing that he does in our lives.
From the time that we jetted in beira from our holiday in Zim in May this year, the road was not as easy as we can see. Life was disturbed by sicknesses and diseases but the Lord is good. He is our Jehovah Rapha. Both of us as a family felt that this was an attack from the devil. Suku was sick for one complete week and the doctors detected that she has a problem with her right ovary with which we have to go and see gyneocologist and discover what really the problem is. In the same way, our son Abdiel became sick and suffering from dirrheorea and vomitting. God is faithful all the time. We can now sing; 'Look what the Lord has done, He healed my body, he touched my life, he saved me just on time, I wanna praise his name ....'
At the moment, we are involved in the re-intergation of the kids from the ophanages and this is not easy and fun for a child that has been used to stay at the ophanage for many years. The Lord is faithful in helping this process to be done in a transparent way.
Though the days are fiiled with moving form one place to the other, the inward man is being renewed every time.
Below are some prayer requests to you our followers and friends. As a base we are really in need of:
- Car for the transportation of the kids during the process of re-intergration.
- Wisdom to convince and share with the children's families.
- Openness form the kids in speaking the truth to help find relatives.

Stand with us in prayer and God will takes us far in this ministry.
